Jun 20, 2026"Hanu Korean BBQ in Grand Wijaya Center has quickly become one of my favorite spots for authentic Korean meat grilling, and for good reason. They truly live up to the concept of Jeongyuk Sikdang (butcher shop restaurant) by prioritizing meat quality above all else. The atmosphere here strikes a perfect balance—it’s lively enough to feel exciting, but comfortable enough for a relaxed meal. While it gets busy, the ventilation system is surprisingly effective, so you don't leave smelling like a smokehouse, which is a big plus! We tried the Wet Aging Pork Collar, and the flavor was just incredible. It was perfectly marbled, incredibly tender, and cooked flawlessly by the attentive staff right at our table. The effort they put into aging the meat definitely pays off in texture and depth of flavor. Beyond the BBQ, their side dishes and stews are excellent complements. We ordered the Sundubu Jjigae, and it was wonderfully rich and spicy—perfect for cutting through the richness of the pork. The portion was generous and served piping hot in a stone bowl. We also enjoyed the Japchae and the fluffy Gyeranjjim (steamed egg), which provided a comforting contrast. The service is prompt and highly efficient. The staff are knowledgeable about the cuts and always ensure your grill is clean and your banchan is refilled quickly. They really make the whole grilling process effortless for the diners. If you’re looking for a K-BBQ experience that focuses on genuine quality cuts and traditional, hearty Korean dishes, Hanu is the place to be. It feels like a genuine taste of Seoul right here in Jakarta."
